Today was another grind, but I got an early start at 6:30. The road was straight and the scenery was pretty much the same from the beginning to the end.
Stopped at this place for breakfast. It bills itself as the largest truckstop in the world. After observing the thousands of trucks parked in the back I have no basis for disagreement. The food was decent.
Not much to report except that on this trip I have managed to verify that there is corn in Nebraska and Iowa. In fact there is a lot of corn in Nebraska and Iowa.
I also managed to verify that there are bugs in Nebraska and Iowa. In fact there are a lot of bugs here. Below is about one hours worth.
Even if Iowa is not the most beautiful of states today was an important part of the Voyage of the Discovery theme. I visited Lewis and Clark State Park and the Sergeant Floyd Memorial in Sioux City. To see the pictures of this click HERE or on the picture below.
